Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary App Reviews

I have ever seen a free dictionary with 100 word before. I think it should have at least 7000-10000 essential word.

Advertised as being on sale for free today. In reality you must make an in-app purchase to do more than a few searches. Any vendor that practices this sort of deceptive marketing cannot be trusted and should be avoided under any circumstances. *** VENDOR ADDED TO MY NO BUY LIST ***

If dont pay, only few word can preview.

Well I dont know what the other reviews said... The app I paid for long time ago is still available to re download and the just wanted us to get new features for the 9th edition... I bought it for 6 bucks in app purchase

I paid a lot of money for the 8th edition before. Why dont you make the 9th edition free update? Should I pay for every new edition ?

Its a great edition and far better than the 8th one. But there is a little thing that i hope to be here, the this is: to make us able to search for phrasal verbs, the phrasal verbs already exist but you have to click on the (phrasal verbs) in words explanation to make them appear, and you have to look for yours, if i just can enter the phrasal verb that i want and see it appears in the search results it will be much better.

This will stop allowing you to look up words if you do not keep purchasing updated versions.

This app can be downloaded for ‘free’, but it costs to use. Most people I know would call that sleazy and a scam. DO NOT DOWNLOAD unless you are ready to support lying scammers with $30,

Shame on oxford tricking the customers to get a promoted looking like free dictionary

Apple should not permit developers do this with an app. Sure, I read the details of the app so I figured the contents would be minimal. But its so minimal why even bother. Click on a word. Almost any word. But you cant access the details of the word until you buy the app. They give you a small list of words that you can view. But its a sham. Immediate download and delete. Dont even bother downloading this app. You will do the same.

This is overpriced!

I paid for the app but it said invalid transaction. Now I lost all the $30 and got nothing.
