Its not free like what Ive seen... so disappointed :(

But just the box, really funny.
You must purchase when you find a word.
Just a word list. Need in-APP purchase to search.
I can’t believe it, what a mess! In fact, only option 4 you can select. Offer in-app purchases. 1. Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary 8th edition Free 2. Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary 9th edition $5.99 3. Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary 9th edition Free 4. Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary 8th edition $29.99
I like this app, cheaper than the book. I had bought the 8th edition and now with 6$ I updated to 9th. Why should this world class dictionary be free?
Very bad "demo"
Paid for the 8th version, now cant even use the app. No way to revert back to the old version. Oxford has become too greedy.
I can t find better Eng dictionary than this 9th version for the time being for those who study both Eng pronunciation and British pronunciation.
Pls fix Not connect to iTunes Store problem, its really annoying when I use the app
Coming from a truly advanced learner, this dictionary is evolutionary. You cant find anything better than this if you want to be wholeheartedly excellent at English.
It was free for downloading, but it will stop you to look up words until youre purchasing updated versions.
I had the 8th edition and just did an update through the App Store and now it updated to the 9th edition and wont let me past the preview and locks up when I restore the old version onto my phone. If I want to to get the 8th edition back, I have to delete the update and get the 8th for free - since I already purchase it - and download it again. Oh wait, I cant because its over 100 MB and I need to be connected to Wi-fi. All this for trying to look up the word inculcation!!! I loved my dictionary app but meet did I imagine that the folks at Oxford would sap and screw me like the numerous apps there that exist to make its developers a quick thousand before people catch on. This was a poor move, Oxford. Im enraged and very disappointed in you guys.
How ridiculous it is! Why dont you provide a paid version instead of free but do nothing one? Wasting time.
As soon as you download the app it says you have to pay $ 29.99 to access the dictionary. Ok.. Thats fine.. but my problem is not the price. Its the fact that the app is labeled FREE instead of just saying its 30$ for the app. Understandably FREE apps do have in-app purchases for additional DLC to add to the app, but thats usually in ADDITION to the base app.. This app has no basis but to tell you you have to pay for the app if you want to look up a word.. Any word at all lol.
It has many things u cant even explore all of them
The list of "preview" words in the free version fits on a single screen. $30 is reasonable to cover production costs of a bound dictionary, but is an exorbitant price to pay to avoid seeing adverts on an online resource. Or use wiktionary.org; no ads there. Seriously, just make a $10-15 annual donation to the WikiMedia project, and use Wikipedia and Wiktionary with a clear conscience.
I paid 0.99 for a dictionary that can find more words than this. Its a catchpenny.
This app is a demo. It only has less than 50 words unless you want to pay the full price. I was expecting an ad supported version where I could use the majority of the features without hindrance. Oxford, do consider an ad supported version of the app. And, you can make some features such as viewing more examples as part of a paid package. Thats where the current app business industry lie.
5 stars for letting me down successfully. : ( they give us just words that very simple and weve already known. Think we should buy the paper version, 9th Ed. I found it very fine!
